John Street Presentation

As we go further into the program we are learning and experiencing different opportunities that are changing our mind sets on things in life. On Wednesday July 21, 2010 Former Mayor John Street came to Temple University to share some words of wisdom with the Bits Interns. However, even though he made his presentation fun and exciting he made some very good points to everything that he was explaining to the Interns. On top of that, Mr. Street was informing us that life is not based on luck everything that you do accomplish must be earned not rewarded. As a result, Former Mayor John Street left the Bits Interns with a saying, "If a man or a women stops to throw stones at a barking dog will not complete its destination", meaning there are many distractions in the world that can take you off focus, but it's up to you to keep on moving.
