As we go further into the program there are many things that we are learning and experiencing. In addition, today on July 16, 2010 my group was introduced to a film/documentary of Philadelphia which was called " The Holy Experience". This film was describing how the Green works of Philadelphia was created and why is it so important to our communities. However, there were many thing about Philadelphia that I had no idea about, for instance, Philadelphia had the first hospital, the first museum, he first theatrical theater, the first anti-slave movement and one of the greatest moments about Philadelphia was when Bess Ross made the first American Flag of the United States of America. For which some may not know that Philadelphia, Pennsylvania is one of the greatest landmarks and has different organization wanting to find and create many ways for Philadelphia to remain and even grow to be a better the place .On top of that, Philadelphia also started the first Flower Show that has been going on for 175 years and has the one of the largest landmarks to protect their natural areas; FAIRMOUNT PARK. As a result, their have been many people that have helped to making our city a get place and also helped a lot of young students to better their time instead of being on the streets.
