On July 13th the Green works group of the Bits program had a portfolio training session that discussed how to conduct yourself when at an interview, for instance, knowing how to fill out an application for a job, how to begin a resume, what are some of the reasons why people don't get the job they desired for and how to dress for success. However, we started out with a primary introduction of what we will be doing in our portfolio training sessions fro the remainder of the program. On top of that, our instructor informed our group that the reason of this training is to help us as young adults to prepare for the workforce and so on. In addition, we watched a short slide show on how important it is to know the three interviews which are Gut, Behavior, and Conversation. In other words, these three interviews describe how people get chosen for a job and why some people don't get chosen for a job. In the end, we explained what SMART means when planing your future.
